How to open the X-Arcade:

To open the X-Arcade™, first remove the screws on the bottom of the X-Arcade™ that are recessed in the rubber feet. Next, simply remove the bottom panel, this is easiest done with a flat object like a butter knife (careful not to cut yourself) or some other wide flat object. Simply pry in between the cracks of the X-Arcade™ base and the panel, being careful not to scratch that beautiful veneer. Now you have access to customize, or change joystick modes.

How to change the X-Arcade™ from 8-way to 4-way mode:

To change the X-Arcade from 8-way to 4-way, first open the X-Arcade™ from the bottom to reveal the bottom side of the joysticks. You will notice a tiny silver "C" shaped metal piece (C-Clip) on the bottom. Slide that sideways with a flat-head screwdriver to remove (careful, they like to run away from you!), be sure there is something holding the stick in from the other side as this will release it.Tthe next piece under that is a plastic washer (4/8-way Selector), simply remove it, and flip it over to change to 4-way mode. Now replace the C-Clip, and the bottom panel, and enjoy some Pac-Man!  :)
